AIWA Re-Enters Indian Market with Smart TVs, Audio and Other Entertainment Products
The Japanese Consumer Electronics Brand, AIWA, re-entered the Indian market with the latest range of premium smart TVs, Audio and other entertainment products. The unveiling was done by eminent singer-writer-actor Dr. Palash Sen on August 01, 2019 at Shangri-La, Delhi.
AIWA introduced Premium SMART 4K Ultra High Definition LED TVs, SMART Home Audio Systems, Wireless Headphones, and Personal Audio products with unparalleled features. While addressing the media, Dr. Palash Sen, shared his story and connection with AIWA. He said that the TV set they used to have in his Jammu and Kashmir home, was of AIWA. Much later when he came to Delhi for higher studies, he used to have a small tape recorder of the same company. That’s how he felt associated with the brand.
The 75-inch 4K UHD Smart TV, 55-inch OLED Smart TV, and the 43-inch Ultra HD smart TV were the main attraction for the event. These devices offer the latest Quantum Dots Light Emitting Technology, Quantum Smart HDR and Android OS with voice command technology.
Speaking for the event, Mr. Jeffery Alan Goldberg, one of the key pillars of AIWA, said, “We decided to launch this great brand in India because this is one of the most dynamic markets in the world with huge potential. While there are many other products in the market, the ability of the Indian consumer to lap up the most innovative technology is unmatchable. AIWA aims to carter the ever-evolving expectations of their audience and it was confirmed by the Managing Director, AIWA India, Mrs. Manmit Chaudhry, who added to the event, “We believe in working relentlessly to provide Indian consumers with a wide choice of products with innovative, advanced features that meet specific requirements across different demographics and price brackets. This launch is the first step in that direction and will cater to the ever-evolving expectations of our target audience for simple and affordable technology products. We plan to invest approximately Rs 200 crores in the coming years.”
The products will be available for purchase through the online medium before August 15 and the company will deliver the dates for offline medium very soon. The range for the LED TVs starts from Rs. 7,999 to 1,99,000 and the company aims to sell about 2,00,000 units per annum.
