Apple finally launches its new version, iPhone SE which is coming with a popular design. The phone has some of the latest hardware of Apple’s current flagship device, iPhone 11 Series but resembles the design of iPhone8. With a 4.7-inch Retina HD True Tone IPS display, the new iPhone SE flaunts thick bezels at the top as well as the bottom of the screen. A presence of the solid-state Home Button coupled with the Touch ID fingerprint screen makes the design look more flawless.
Apart from the design, the phone comes with a power packed performance. It houses an A13 Bionic chip that is available in the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro series. Another standout feature is the third-generation Neural Engine for faster and more efficient machine learning. Honing a IP67 certification, the phone is both water- and-dust resistant.
In case of the optics, the phone only flanks a single camera on the back paired with a 12MP f/1.8 sensor and a True Tone LED flash. The other standout features of the camera include Portrait Mode, Optical Image Stabilization, Auto Focus. However, there is no inclusion of Night or Dark Mode. The iPhone SE can also shoot videos in 4K up to 60 fps, 1080p slo-mo videos at 120 or 240 fps. An 7MP f/2.2 sensor front camera supporting Retina Flash, Auto HDR and Portrait Mode complete the list of camera features.
In case of the battery life department, Apple confirmed that the phone comes with the same amount of battery as iPhone 7 and has the capacity to run videos for 13 hours and audio for 40 hours. The phone packs 5W charging brick and simultaneously supports 18W fast charging and wireless charging.
Like the latest iPhones, iPhone SE runs on Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 13. Connectivity options on the iPhone SE 2020 include 4G LTE, 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a Lightning port.
