Asus Announces Android 10 Update for ROG Phone 2

The ASUS ROG Phone II received an Android 10 beta in December last year and now, according to the company, a stable build is rolling out to the users.

ASUS’s ROG Global Twitter account announced that the Android 10 update for the ROG Phone II is live. The official account did not share specifics about the new features or security updates included in the changelog. However, users can expect native Android 10 features such as Dark theme and navigation gestures to be added with the update.

The Android 10 beta came with ZenUI 6 without any significant cosmetic changes over the previous version, so the stable update probably won’t change that. The update could fix the bugs in the beta version, including the inability to take calls while in the Game Mode or the crashing of SystemUI when opening the icon manager.

Additionally, the Bios & Firmware page for the ASUS ROG Phone II still shows the last stable update from December 2019 as the latest firmware package and has yet to be updated with the Android 10 ZIP file. But users can still download the update now through online links.
