Honor Announces the Arrival of V6

Honor V6 Tablet

After teasing the V6 tablet with 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support in the past few days, the Honor V6 has been now announced with a 10.4-inch 2K (2000x1200px) display, and an 84% screen-to-body ratio. The new V6 also packs in a Kirin 985 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

However, the highlight of the V6 is a stylus that Honor has named “Magic Pencil”. It has 4096 pressure sensitive levels and the tablet supports quick-sharing capabilities with Honor and Huawei phones. There’s also a 13MP f/1.8 main camera with LED flash at the back and an 8MP f/2.0 front camera for selfies and video calls.

To fuel this device, Honor V6 has a 7,250 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging via USB-C port. The device also has an available keyboard in the photos, which makes it look quite similar to the Apple iPad Pro.

Under the hood, the V6 uses Honor’a Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10. However, users will have to rely on Huawei Mobile Services and its App Gallery to download apps.

There are no details yet on the pricing and availability, but the device is up for pre-registration sign-ups in China. The cost and release date are expected to come in June.
