The Indian Government has added 43 more Chinese apps to its list of banned applications. Among these is the official mobile app for shopping platform Aliexpress, along with several other Alibaba group apps, TV apps WeTV and MangoTV, and a few dating apps and games.

Like before, the new apps are blocked under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act and are flagged as prejudicial to the sovereignty, security and integrity of India. The new additions bring the total number of blocked Chinese apps in India to 267.

The previous list of blocked Chinese apps in India included 118 apps in total with PUBG Mobile being the headline. PUBG Mobile is slated to make a comeback to the Indian market soon. However, it remains to be seen if any of the other blocked apps will do the same.

Some of the newly blocked apps by the Indian government include AliSuppliers Mobile App, Alibaba Workbench, Lalamove India, CamCard, Date in Asia, among others.
