Moto E6s Could Be One of The Cheapest Smartphones You Could Buy

With a solid history of building reliable and pocket-friendly phones, Motorola has always managed to steal hearts and gain a considerable amount of consumer mindshare. And now, the newly announced Moto E6s could be the next in a series of some incredible phones.

It has got the pricing right so far with a tag of just £99 (around $120 / AU$200). However, there is no word on its release in any of these regions. However, we do have a lowdown on the specifications, and they are quite good. The phone has a 6.1-inch 720 x 1560 LCD screen, a 2GHz MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and a dual-lens rear camera, with a 13MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Moto E6s also has a 5MP front-facing camera, 32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 3,000mAh battery, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and comes running Android 9 Pie. The phone sports a water-repellent design too.

These specs look quite identical to the Moto E6 Plus, a phone which also has a similar price tag. So, the company might struggle to stand out unless Motorola discontinues that phone. Though the Moto E6s is a slight step up from the Moto E6 Play, in both specs and price.

It is expected that UK buyers will be able to pick it up in the coming weeks from Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, O2 or Tesco. As for other regions, we will have to wait and watch.
