Motorola is possibly set to launch another device besides the Moto G Stylus and the much-awaited Moto G8. The smartphone is said to be the latest ‘Z’ series model named Moto Z5. It will be presented as a replacement to the Moto Z4 which was launched back in May 2019. The smartphone has been certified online which points towards an expected launch around the month of May.
The device is said to have been verified from FCC with the XT2055 model number. The listing shows a 5,000 mAh battery powering the smartphone. However, the battery capacity is not reported by the FCC.
While the features on other hardware have also not been specified, the smartphone is said to launch with Turbo fast energizing support. Also, the smartphone will ship with assistance for Moto Mods accessories. Other essential points like the camera and display are yet to be declared by the brand.
The organization is yet to make accurate announcements related to its launch of the device and its and key specs. It would be difficult to say what sort of upgrades the smartphone will get over its Z4 predecessor.
But, it’s worth noting that this would be the first time that Motorola will be bringing a ‘Z’ series device with this big a battery. Moreover, it will arrive as a mid-segment offering as its predecessor. But, that can only be established once we get some genuine news or official teasers by the brand.
As for the earlier model Motorola Z4, it arrived with Snapdragon 675 processor, with a good 4GB RAM and impressive 128 GB storage configuration. It comes with Android Pie OS.
The device displays a 6.4-inch LCD panel and it’s an FHD+ resolution, along with waterdrop notch. The device has a 25MP selfie snapper, while at the back there is a unique 48MP sensor. The device comes with a decent battery of 3,600 mAh.
