Smartphone giant Motorola is almost ready to unveil its next foldable smartphone, which according to the rumor mill has been tentatively called either Razr 5G or Razr 2020. The successor to the company’s first foldable, the reborn Razr 2019, will improve upon it in every possible way, if we were to follow the pattern of past rumours.
According to reports, the device will get official on September 9, and invites have already been sent to the media by Motorola. The next Razr has leaked in a few hands-on images, and from the looks of it, this could be a stunner.
As for the key specifications, users can expect to get the Snapdragon 765 chipset powering the new device and bringing it 5G support as well. Along with that, the device will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and a 2,845 mAh battery. The rear camera will also get an upgrade, to Samsung’s 48 MP ISOCELL Bright GM1, while the selfie shooter will be a solid 20 MP. The phone will run Android 10, and the outer screen will also be larger this time.
There is no official confirmation from the company, yet, and neither do we have any other information on pricing and availability.
