Motorola Is Rumoured To Launch One Macro In India Soon
Motorola has awakened from a long slumber by bringing the One series of phones this year. The company has taken a step forward by launching Android One Phones in global markets like India and has witnessed success and appreciation. The One Series mainly focuses on the camera performance, and for quite some time, there has been a whirlwind of rumours and leaks about another phone that is expected to be a better version of the One Series. Yes, we are talking about the Motorola One Macro.
A recent report from a media outlet suggested that Motorola’s One Macro will be hitting the Indian market very soon. But how soon? The report revealed that One Macro is going to be launched in India by next week itself. This will be the third Motorola One series phone treading into the Indian market after One Action and One Vision. The price of the One Macro is still a secret.
Motorola has already featured a 48-megapixel high-resolution camera with excellent night mode performance in Motorola One Vision. They also enhanced the feature of Action Camera in the Motorola One Action that can shoot videos like a GoPro camera. The upcoming One Macro will bring a camera designed for the ones who have a knack for taking close up photos.
Another media report revealed that Motorola One Macro was accidentally placed on the Saudi e-commerce site extra.com that disclosed a few of its features and specifications. It brought to light that One Macro will come with a MediaTek Helio P60 or P70 chipset. The phone is also expected to contain 3GB or 4GB RAM along with 32GB or 64GB storage. As Motorola’s series have always sported a 4GB RAM and 64GB as a standard affair on all its 2019 phones, so we are expecting the same variant to enter India as well.
Leaked news affirmed that the phone may come up with a conventional 19:9 display, coupled with a waterdrop notch on the top and thick chin. The rear comes with a quad-camera-like design and a centrally mounted fingerprint sensor with the Motorola batwing logo adorned on it.
The macro camera will also sport a 2-megapixel sensor for close-up shots. On the other hand, the main camera will use a 13-megapixel camera. There will also be a 2-megapixel depth camera at the back along with laser-assisted autofocus. The phone also appears to have a gradient design on the rear panel.
If it finally comes to India, we are assuming that the price range will be around Rs 10,000, directly competing with Redmi 7, Realme 3i and other budget phones. The rest of the news hasn’t been unveiled yet, and we might have to wait a bit longer for all the confirmed information.
