Motorola’s Much-Hyped Motorola One Hyper Is Full of Fancy Features

As the name suggests, it is the most extreme One series phone Motorola has made yet. The One Hyper offers the company’s fastest charging system, the highest resolution cameras with Night Vision on both front and back, and a pop-up mechanism to get rid of the notch.

After a series of leaked news, Motorola One Hyper has finally stepped into the market. The One Hyper is the first Motorola phone with a notch-less display along with thin bezels. The smartphone flaunts a 6.5-inch display, but still uses an IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution. Therefore, there is no such fancy in-display fingerprint technology here, but Motorola has shifted the fingerprint sensor to the back and put an LED notification ring around it. That’s quite a cool idea!

In case of imaging capabilities, the One Hyper comes with a dual-camera setup at the back, with the primary one being a 64-megapixel camera with an F1.9 lens and the second one being an 8-megapixel 117-degree wide-angle camera with Quad Pixel tech. In the pop-up mechanism sits a 32-megapixel selfie camera that also uses pixel-binning technology. The use of quad-pixel technology on both the front and rear camera help Motorola bring its Night Vision feature to all the cameras.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, the latter being expandable up to 1TB. It runs on stock Android 10 and still gets the much helpful Moto Actions as well. The phone draws 4000mAh battery power, but it’s charging technology is where Motorola has stepped up the game.

The One Hyper gets a new 45W charging system that Motorola calls the Hyper Charging. 0-100 percent charging times haven’t been revealed but Motorola says you can get up to 12 hours of battery life by charging the phone for just 10 minutes. Sadly, the charger is sold separately and you will only get the 15W charger in the box.

The One Hyper is currently only selling in the US and it costs $400 (approximately Rs 28,000). Motorola hasn’t revealed its intentions on bringing the phone to other markets, including India, yet. However, we hope to get hold of the phone by next year.
