Motorola’s next high-end phone is said to run on the Snapdragon 865 – or even 888 – processor and feature Android 11 out of the box. According to new rumours, the same OEM is also working on additional new phones that will also run this OS. However, those might be in a much lower tier compared to the rumored “Nio”.
The “Capri” (or XT2127) is said to have an HD+ display with a standard 60 hertz (Hz) screen and an 8MP water-drop notch. Its SoC may be the Snapdragon 460, paired to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
This device is also now touted to have 48+8+2+2MP rear cameras, dual SIM and possibly NFC. It might launch alongside a Plus variant (or XT2129). This phone is said to have a 90Hz refresh rate for its own HD+ screen. There may also be an additional 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage option for this higher-end option.
The “Capri Plus” may also have 64+13+2+2MP rear shooters. The leak does not mention which processor the new Plus is supposed to have, but does point to a first-quarter launch.
