New OnePlus 8 Pro Leaks Point Towards 120Hz Display Refresh Rate
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are on the horizon and ready to be shipped sooner than we all expected. According to the latest round of leaks and rumours, the pair of smartphones might come to the market as early as March or April. In addition, a new leak claims to have a render of the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro, alongside a few specification points.
According to this new render, the back of the OnePlus 8 Pro matches an earlier set of renders from a different source, but the colour is different. In this render, the 3D ToF and supporting camera sensors are in a little strip to the left of the main triple camera.
Then there is the fairly obvious Snapdragon 865 and Android 10 bits on the devices. Our guess on the memory options are 128GB or 256GB with 8GB of RAM, or maybe even a 12GB could be on the cards. OnePlus could also jump on the popular bandwagon with a 16GB tier, but only time will tell.
What is most interesting though, is the display with a 6.5 inch screen. Previous leaks have also suggested 6.65 inches on the Pro and 6.5 inches for the regular OnePlus 8. Plus, a multitude of leaks and even official teasers suggest that the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature 120Hz refresh rate display.
And lastly, there is the 4,500 mAh battery alongside a 50W charging, presumably the Warp Charge. We all first saw a 50W charging solution from OnePlus’ parent BBK Electronics group way back in 2018 on the OPPO Find X Lamborghini, and recently on the Realme X2 Pro.
While we are definitely taking all these leaks with a pinch of salt, we will keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best from both these devices.
