NokiaPowerUser reports that entries in a database disclosed the name, Nokia 2.3 along with colour options. According to the reports, Nokia 2.3 will come in Sand, Cyan Green, and Charcoal colours. To recall, Nokia 7.2 was available in two similar colour variants – Cyan Green and Charcoal colours. The entry has the Nokia 2.3 Dual SIM variant listed with model number TA-1206. While other specifications and features of Nokia 2.3 are still unknown, we may expect that the new version will bring different and upgraded features.
Other than this, the phone has also passed through Bluetooth certification with a MediaTek processor and Bluetooth 5.0. HMD Global seems to be sticking with MediaTek for its entry-level smartphone. To recall, the Nokia 2.2 was launched with a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC.
No other information about the new phone has been circulated. Nokia 2.3 could possibly see the light of the day sometime early next year, and HMD Global may announce the phone as part of its MWC 2020 lineup.
Nokia 2.2 is the company’s most affordable Android One device right now. It was launched with stock Android Pie and will get updated to Android 10 in Q1 2020. Nokia 2.2 sports a waterdrop display and a dedicated Assistant button, among other features. The Nokia 2.2 was priced at Rs. 7,699 for the base variant and Rs. 8,699 for the higher variant. It is speculated that Nokia 2.3 will also carry the same price tag.
