OnePlus Unveils the Concept One Smartphone at CES 2020. Here’s What You Need to Know
OnePlus finally took the curtains off the Concept One Smartphone at the CES 2020 that was being teased for a while now. The phone sports a premium design and blazing colour, but what truly makes it interesting is the fact that the smartphone features new invisible cameras at the back panel.
The Papaya Orange (OnePlus’ signature shade) colour smartphone is the result of the company’s collaboration with luxury sports maker McLaren. Though the smartphone remains a concept, for now, we expect to see the device rolling in the market very soon. While introducing the device, OnePlus revealed that the inspiration for this smartphone was drawn from the McLaren’s 720S Spider luxury sports car featuring a retractable hardtop glazed with an electrochromic glass panel.
Just like the 720S Spider, OnePlus has used electrochromic glass at the rear panel of the OnePlus Concept One Smartphone. Furthermore, the company revealed the use of organic particles to create changes in the glass covering the camera lenses to create the invisible glass effect. The company claims it to be the most advanced electrochromic glass ever made and the design of Concept One shows two glass panels sandwich the organic material between them. Moreover, the glass panel is claimed to use no power at all for operating.
Apart from these, OnePlus has not revealed any details about the specifications of the device but considering the brand reputation, we expect the device to be packed with only the best technology in the market.
Along with the Papaya Orange shade, the phone features McLaren’s signature in the same shade and the frame of the device is said to be made by aluminum alloy.
