OPPO Confirmed To Launch The Latest ColorOS 7 User Interface On November 20
OPPO is all set to take the wraps off an ambitious plan to create the new version of ColorOS which is predictably called ColorOS 7. The company is hosting the prestigious event on November 20 in Beijing, China to unfurl the new ColorOS version. We are still unaware of the details of ColorOS 7 as no information has been revealed yet. However, OPPO has given few hints about its key specifications through a teaser posted online. ColorOS 7 will also reach some Realme phones in addition to eligible OPPO devices. The company will also be offering Android 10 through the latest ColorOS version.
The official ColorOS account on Weibo reported that ColorOS 7 launch will take place at 2:30 pm CST Asia (12pm IST) on November 20. The teaser image posted on Weibo suggested that the new version will be coming with gaming and multimedia features preloaded with the custom skin that will debut as the upgrade to ColorOS 6.
As per the recent updates to Huawei’s EMUI and Xiaomi’s MIUI, the new ColorOS would sport a system-wide dark mode. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth in an AskMadhav session on YouTube last month announced the arrival of ColorOS 7 and stated that its Realme-specific version will come with a nearly stock Android experience. However, the executive didn’t mention any particular timeline for the ColorOS 7 update.
Meanwhile, Realme is hosting a launch event in India on November 20 where it is launching the X2 Pro. It is expected that the company would announce the ColorOS 7 rollout for select Realme phones. OPPO, on the other hand, is preparing the ColorOS 7 rollout for its smartphones. The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is likely to be one of the first devices to get the latest custom skin along with a new Android update.
News has been circulated that with the unrolling of the new OS, the Chinese manufacturer will reveal a range of devices that will get the new version.
