OPPO Reno 3 Tipped to Feature Quad Rear Camera; Price Leaked
OPPO launched the OPPO Reno 2 earlier this year that has won the award for the “Best Innovation in Camera Technology” at India Economic Conclave 2019, North Chapter. The company also launched the OPPO Reno Ace flagship phone last month. And now latest round of leaks and rumours suggest that the company is prepping up to introduce another smartphone, that will be the successor of OPPO Reno 2 – the OPPO Reno 3. The price, details and specifications of the alleged smartphone have surfaced on Weibo.
Rumoured Specifications and Price of OPPO Reno 3
The OPPO Reno 3 is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display that supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display carries support for 90Hz refresh rate and it is well-equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Optics on the OPPO Reno 3 include a quad-camera setup at the rear combining a 60-megapixel primary lens, with 8-megapixel, 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The selfie camera uses a 32-megapixel sensor. It is still not confirmed whether the smartphone will be sporting a shark-fin pop-up camera module like the Reno2. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 735 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Internal storage options will be at 128GB and 256GB.
In case of the battery life department, OPPO Reno 3 will be loaded with 4,500mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support. There’s no information on when and where the device will debut first.
As per the information by the tipster, the OPPO Reno 3 will be priced at CNY 3,299 (approx. Rs. 33,400) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant, and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 36,400) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB model.
