Redmi 8 Is Tipped To Feature Primary Camera, Waterdrop-Style Display Notch
Xiaomi has disclosed through a microsite on Mi.com that Redmi 8 will debut in India featuring a primary Sony sensor and provide camera features like edge detection and skin tone mapping. The piece of information was confirmed after Xiomi India Chief Manu Kumar Jain affirmed about the launch of Redmi 8. A teaser that surfaced on the Internet showed Redmi 8 will have a battery capacity of more than 4,000 mAh.
The teaser image revealed that there will be a dual rear camera setup containing a primary Sony sensor. Xiaomi has also revealed that Redmi 8 will be coming up with the most updated battery setup. The back of the phone is cemented with Auro mirror design and the front panel will display a waterdrop-display notch. With a gorgeous gradient finish, Redmi 8 will come with a splash resistive build. The smartphone has also claimed to feature “industry-leading” edge detection and skin tone mapping. The Redmi 8 will be launched in India on October 9
Redmi 8 Price in India (Expected)
The price of Redmi 8 is yet not announced. However, the price tag is expected to be similar to the launch price of Redmi 7. Not to forget, the Redmi 7’s 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants were launched in the Indian market at the price of Rs 7,999.
Redmi 8 Specifications (Expected)
Xiaomi has been a silent player this time and therefore it has not revealed any specification of Redmi 8. However, some details of the hardware were mentioned by a Google Play console listing. This information comprises of an HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 320ppi of pixel density. There is a possibility of a 3GB RAM variant of Redmi 8. It is expected to be powered by octa-core Quacomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. The phone is also suspected to run Android Pie with MIUI 10.0.1.3 on top and come in four distinct color options like Ash, Blue, Green, and Red.
