Xiaomi has conquered the market due to its affordable smartphones, and its devices and specifications certainly defy the pricing. One of its most popular smartphones that one can see almost everywhere is the Redmi Series that offers excellent value for money. Just a few days back, Xiaomi launched its Redmi 7A. But as the makers of Xiaomi value their customers over everything, it has once again amped up its smartphone game by bringing another new series with added innovation. To enjoy the piece of the pie this festive season, Xiaomi is all prepped to launch Redmi 8A in India first on September 25.
The Xiaomi Redmi 8A comes with a ginormous 5,000mAh battery. Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain’s tweets reveal that the Redmi 8A will support fast charging and will sport a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing, making it one of the cheapest phones in India to do so. There has been no confirmed news about its size. But as per the TENAA listing, the phone is said to give a boost with a 6.2-inch display – the resolution should be HD+ or 720p+.
Redmi 8A: Design: Aura Wave Grip & Waterdrop Notch
Fans of Redmi series will be awed when they witness the latest design of Redmi 8A. Jain reveals a complete revamp of the design that will boast an Aura Wave Grip design. This denotes that the phone will offer a good grip to the users. Another impeccable design that Redmi 8A will bring in the forefront is waterdrop notch. Until now, Redmi A-series have always featured thick bezels but Redmi 8A will renew this definition by enhancing a trendy and sophisticated waterdrop notch. The Redmi 8A is also ditching the micro USB port and supports the USB Type-C, another incredible innovation to be brought in the market at this price point.
The price of Xiaomi Redmi 8A will be similar to the Redmi 7A costing around Rs 6000 making it one of the cheapest smartphones with the powerhouse of innovation and massive battery life.
