Samsung Galaxy Fold Officially Launched In India; Priced At Rs 1,64,999

The first foldable Android smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Fold has been officially launched in India. After being attacked with criticism by early reviewers for its sleazy design, Samsung took the judgment positively and made improvements to the original model and amended the design flaws much before the commercial launch of the Galaxy Fold. The first-of-its-kind foldable phone comes with a tablet-sized screen when unfolded, and a secondary small screen in a folded state. With such an incredible design, the price range for this phone will certainly not be cheap. The price tag for Samsung Galaxy Fold is set at Rs. 1,64,999 for the lone 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The pre-booking for Galaxy Fold will begin from October 4 and its shipments will start from October 20. The pre-bookings will take place online through the Samsung eShop and offline in 35 cities across 315 outlets that also includes the Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru.
