Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Spotted On Geekbench With Android 10, Snapdragon 855
Rumours have been floating around that Samsung has been working on a Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. As per leaked news, the smartphone is a toned-down version of the Galaxy S10, but there has been no detailed information on this. Now, surprisingly the smartphone has been spotted on popular benchmarking site, Geekbench that disclosed some of its key specifications.
A Samsung smartphone displaying a model number SM-G770F has been spotted on the benchmarking platform. This bears the same model number that has been leaked earlier for the Galaxy S10 Lite. The listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone runs on Android 10 which is commendable as most of the flagship devices from Samsung currently run on Android 9.0 Pie.
The Geekbench 5 listing further mentions that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along Adreno 640 GPU. Other details of the upcoming smartphone include 8GB of RAM with the possibility of the addition of 64GB or 128GB storage with it. The phone has scored 742 points in a single-core test and 2604 points in a multi-core test.
Earlier, the colour variants of the alleged Galaxy S10 Lite were leaked online. Galaxy S10 Lite will be available in three colour options – White, Black, and Blue. To recall, the Galaxy S10 was launched with Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue, and Prism Green colour options, while the Galaxy S10e is available in Canary Yellow colour option.
Samsung has recently engaged itself in making various smartphones where Galaxy S10 Lite is speculated to have similar specifications like that of Galaxy A91. Galaxy A91 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is reported to be backed by a 128GB of internal storage.
In the case of imaging capabilities, the handset is said to come with a triple-camera setup comprising a 48-megapixel primary lens along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. A 32-megapixel shooter is positioned in the front for video calling and selfies. The phone is said to draw the power of 4,500mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging support.
However, other details of the Galaxy S10 Lite are mysterious at the moment. Sammobile suspects that the handset could be launched after Samsung Galaxy S11 steps into the market as Samsung usually first ships its flagship series with the latest version of Android. But we are totally excited for both!
