Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Could Turn Out To Be More Affordable Than Galaxy S20

Global smartphone maker Samsung is all set to launch its next flagship, the Galaxy S20 on February 11, 2020. Also, at the same event, the global behemoth is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip – its next foldable smartphone, but one that would feature a clamshell design.

We have seen many leaks of the upcoming foldable clamshell smartphone, which include the device’s specs, features, and design. But now, there are more details about the device out in the market.

As per a new leak, the main camera on the Galaxy Z Flip will be the 12-megapixel lens and not the originally reported 108-megapixel one. This goes against previous reports that both the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy S20 Ultra will showcase the super-high-resolution lens.

This claim has been made by tipster Ishan Agarwal, who has apparently leaked almost the entire specs of the Galaxy Z Flip. In a tweet, he has claimed that the phone will get a 12-megapixel main camera and a 10-megapixel lens at the front.

Apart from this, he has also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will get a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen, 256GB of onboard storage, One UI 2.1, 3300mAH or 3500mAH Battery and be made available in Black and Purple colours.

Initially, there were reports of blue, red, and pink editions for South Korea, however, there is no clarity on whether the colour variants will be coming to other markets.

Not just that, there is also new information available about the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip. The latest reports coming out of South Korea claim the phone could feature a price tag much lower than that of the Motorola Razr which also features a mid-range SoC in the Snapdragon 710 SoC.

The new report claims that the device will be priced between $860 and $1,295, making it more affordable than the Moto Z Flip and also bring it in line with other premium flagships in the market.

While these reports do seem exciting, we should hold our breath till the phone is launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event 2020 later next month.
