Good news is Xiaomi Redmi 10X has been spotted on a Chinese e-commerce store, Tianvi Telecommunications and we are expecting that it will launch in China soon. The picture indicates that the device resembles the look of Redmi Note 9 Pro which has been launched in India recently. Key features and specifications are revealed and we believe that these are no rumours.
In case of the specifications, the device flaunts a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a punch-hole notch cutout on the front. It is powered by the yet-unannounced MediaTek Helio G85 chip with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G52 GPU paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. We are expecting this to be the sole storage option that will be available on the phone.
In the case of the optics, the device comes with a quad-camera setup on the back with a combination of primary 48MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2MP cameras. A 13MP selfie camera housed within the notch cutout is cemented on the front of the device.
The phone will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and Type-C port for charging. Powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery, the phone looks like a ray of hope for the ones who are looking for a budget phone with decent specifications. However, we still don’t have any information on its fast charging support
As per the listing, the Redmi 10X will fall under the price category of CNY 1,400 which roughly translates to around Rs 15,000. This means it falls under the same segment as the Redmi Note 9 Pro series.
Currently, we don’t have any information about whether the company has any plans to introduce the device in India as the country is under complete lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
