The successor to the Nokia 9 PureView from 2019, the Nokia 9.3 PureView, has been a very long time in the making. Now, a new rumour claims that the launch of the device has been delayed again.
While the world was expecting the phone to launch any day now it seems like we’ll all have to wait a bit longer. If you’re one of those people who were awaiting the launch of this phone with bated breath, you’ll have to wait until sometime in the first half of 2021. As of now, there is no specific timeline for its release.
However, this hopefully means that the Nokia 9.3 will launch with the upcoming Snapdragon 875 chipset like all of its competitors. The new chip is expected to be detailed at the beginning of December, and we’ve already heard rumours about other flagships launching with it on board starting in mid-January.
It is possible that this may have changed HMD Global’s plans, because launching the Nokia 9.3 PureView this month or in December with the Snapdragon 865 would have made the phone dated within a month or two of its release. Especially considering that all of its competitors would be coming out with the 875.
All of this is currently speculation so the news needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Till then, we’ll just have to wait for official updates from Nokia
