The Top Upcoming Smartphone Launches in September
The year 2019 has been witnessing a hailstorm of smartphone launches. And the month of September is only going to take this tradition forward, with brands rushing to launch some of the most technologically-advanced smartphones we have seen in a while.
The new iPhones
If we talk about the biggest launch of the year, Apple will be coming up with its new iPhones i.e. iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. It is expected that the regular iPhone 11 would feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen, the iPhone 11 Pro would have a 5.8-inch OLED screen and iPhone Pro Max will sport a 6.5-inch OLED screen. All of these would come with an enhanced water protection technology. According to reports, they would comprise of an additional camera lens – ultra wide angle that is found in most camera phones today. Apple is expected to launch the phones in the second week of September.
Vivo’s Z Series
September is expected to witness the launch of Vivo’s new Z series. Vivo’s Z1 Pro tasted quite some success and is now all set to unveil the successor with Vivo Z1X Pro. Alongside, Vivo would also be launching the next Z series with Vivo Z2 Pro in the beginning of September. The features of Vivo Z2 Pro will be launched with an advanced 48MP Saamsung GMI sensor in its primary lens and would include triple camera system along with an 8MP wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
Moreover, Vivo is also planning to launch another Z series smartphone, Vivo Z5. The launch is expected to happen in the mid of September. It would consist of a similar design technology to Vivo Z1 Pro, but would be built of high-quality polycarbonate body. It would consist of an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking. It would also include a triple camera system at the back with 28MP main sensor, an 8MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
Redmi Note phones
The two launches from the house of Redmi this month include the Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro. Redmi Note 8 is said to be a much more advanced phone in the Note series. It would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and will come with a triple camera system on the rear panel. It will consist of a primary 48MP main camera and is anticipated to have the Sony IMX586 sensor. It will have a better 4500mAH battery supporting 18W fast charging. The price of this device is expected to be less than Rs.10,000 and will launch by end of the month. On the other hand, Redmi Note 8 Pro would include a quad-camera setup on its back panel in which it would have a vertically aligned triple camera module in the middle of the back panel and the fourth rear camera will be on the right side of the triple camera area. Nonetheless, it would use the Samsung 64MP GM sensor along with other sensors such as ultra wide angle sensor, macro sensor and depth sensor for particular portraits. The expected price for the same is to be around Rs.15,000.
The mighty OnePlus
Another launch that is being highly anticipated is that of the OnePlus 7T series, which includes the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T pro. Both the phones will be powered by the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chip and might come up with its first 64MP camera sensor in this series. The launch of both the phones would take place at the same time, expectedly by the end of September.
Nokia is ready with its new series of phones, which includes the formidable Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 8.2 on September 5. All these smartphones are expected to have waterdrop displays and triple rear cameras. The price range of Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are expected to be between Rs.15,000 and Rs.20,000. The Nokia 7.2 will comprise of a circular camera and would include a 48MP main censor with a 120-degree wide angle lens in three colour options – Ice Blue, Forest Green and Charcoal Black. Additionally, for the first time, Nokia will be introducing a glass sandwich body.
The honourable Honor series
The Honor 9X series is also due a launch this month. The two phones to be launched include the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. The respective phones would have a 6.59-inch OLED display and would be all screen and no notch. Both the phones are powered by the new flagship Kirin 810 chipset based on a 7nm process. They would be featuring the glass back in rising colours with X-shaped patterns and pop up cameras. While the Honor 9X will have a dual camera with 48MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor, the Honor 9X Pro will include a third camera, the 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor. Both the phones will be powered by a 4000mAH battery and are expected to be priced starting Rs.15,000.
