Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Android 10 update to roll out in April
Android 10 has been officially out for about 7 months now and already, attention is shifting to the next version of Android with the commencement of Android 11 development. New devices come with Android 10 out of the box and many of the eligible devices have already been updated to Android 10, often clad in the respective OEM’s skin on top of Android. Some devices, however, are still slated to bag Android 10 updates in due course.
In spite of being launched at a time when many devices were receiving Android 10 updates, the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, which has been sold as the Mi Note 10 in some markets, came running Android 9 Pie out of the box. Xiaomi promised an Android 10 update for the device and users have been waiting for that update since.

However, according to the recent reports, Xiaomi is planning to roll out Android 10 update to the Mi CC9 Pro sometime in mid- April. This is according to the latest poster on the official Weibo Xiaomi mount saying that Xiaomi CC9 Pro will soon upgrade to Android 10.
The update, according to reports, will still be based on MIUI 11 that the device launched with. This is not something new as Xiaomi has decoupled its MIUI rollouts from its Android rollouts for many of its devices, and updates both separately most of the time.
The Xiaomi CC9 Pro was first unrolled in November 2019. This device was introduced to the market as Xiaomi Mi Note 10 around the world and is the first mass-produced device with a 108MP camera.
