In a Twitter post stating ‘The legend of #RedmiNoteSeries continues’, Xiaomi has finally dropped the dates for the global launch of the Redmi Note 9 Series. The launch will be through an online event, on April 30 at 20:00 GMT.
In addition to this, another tweet states, ‘Get ready to meet the newest members of #RedmiNote9Series as well as other great Xiaomi products! #NoMiWithoutYou’. This clearly hints at more exciting launches lined up for Xiaomi fans.
While this announcement doesn’t specify exactly the devices that will be launched, but they will definitely be from the Redmi Note 9 series. The brand as of now sells the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max only in select markets. Globally, the company sells the Redmi Note 9S, identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, but there is no global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. However, come April 30, and this might change too.
According to some rumours, there could be a Redmi 10X launch too, which is an upcoming mid-range smartphone from Xiaomi, and could be sold as Redmi Note 9 globally. Since the announcement hinted at ‘other great products’, we are expecting the launch of some cool accessories from the company.
