iQoo Neo 3 5G has been finally unveiled on Chinese social media website, Weibo. The social media post claimed that the phone will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, support 5G, and have UFS 3.1 storage similar to the iQoo 3 smartphones that were launched in February this year. However, unlike the older phones, the new version has a 144Hz display refresh rate.
The recent announcement on Weibo informs that the company has implemented a new strategy i.e. 3+2 for all its upcoming phones. We are still not sure what the numbers signify, however, a tipster has announced that ‘3’ stands for the processor, display refresh rate, and storage. On the other hand, ‘2’ stands for a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging option which is still not announced by iQoo.
In the case of camera specifications, the iQoo Neo 3 5G will come with a 48-megapixel main rear camera. We are also expecting iQoo Neo 3 5G to include a 4G variant.
Though the iQoo Neo 3 5G is going to be the next phone in iQoo’s Neo line-up, the new naming scheme denotes that the company is positioning the Neo 3 5G alongside the iQoo 3. To recall, the last iQoo Neo phone was the iQoo Neo 855 launched last year.
Additionally, vivo has taken a step forward and unleashed a Microsoft for iQoo Neo 3 5G and we are expecting to see more updates on the same in the coming days
At this moment, there is no information about whether the device will be launched in India. To recall, the iQoo 3’s 5G carries a price tag of INR 44,990.
