LG To Debut Folder 2 Flip Phone Supporting 4G

LG Folder 2

Just a few days back we were all excited when the Korean company LG announced the LG Velvet. Once again, the company surprised its users with a new announcement regarding its new flip phone that it has named the LG Folder 2. This phone is specifically for people who have less budget and prefer devices that are easier to use.

The phone comes with decent specifications such as Snapdragon 210 SoC, SOS Key and Hotkey buttons. The SOS key is cemented at the back of the phone that has a 2MP primary camera and allows you to quickly make a call within 1.5 seconds. The feature also shares the location by providing a text message. Whereas, the Hotkey feature is placed on the front of the phone just above the call button where you can use the AI voice to make a call recording. However, both the features are dependent on the carriers.

The storage capacity is decent which is 8GB and the phone flaunts two display screens – one is a 2.8″ QVGA primary screen and a secondary 0.9″ monochrome panel that specifically displays notifications for texts and calls.

Weighing just 127 grams, the phone also supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. Another notable feature of this phone is data security lock that is extremely useful in preventing any extra use of data. The phone is powered by 1,470 mAh battery and comes in two gorgeous colours such as White and New Platinum Grey.

The Folder 2 falls under the price range of KRW198,000 (INR 12, 185) and will go on sale in South Korea from April 17. We still don’t have any information as to when the phone will arrive in other markets.
