Nubia Play to Launch With 144Hz refresh rate & Snapdragon 765G

Nubia Play

The upcoming and highly anticipated Nubia Play finally has a lunch date. The device is arriving on April 21, and we also have a lot more information about how it is going to look and be.

The Nubia Play is reported to have no notches or punch holes, instead it will have a traditional bezel, but it is ultra-thin, and the selfie camera will be positioned within it. A video of the new device also revealed that the refresh rate of the nubia Play will be 144 Hz, along with an even better 240 Hz touch sampling rate. This is similar to its other gaming counterpart, the nubia Red Magic 5G.

According to the same reports, the device will have Snapdragon 765G. In fact, the CEO of nubia has also confirmed the phone will have Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging for its stupendously big 5,100 mAh power cell. Some publications have also reported some of the device’s camera samples, and another brand ambassador video was also recorded entirely with the nubia Play. This video showed how the nubia Play has some really impressive focusing abilities and realistic colours.

nubia’s CEO Ni Fei has said that Snapdragon 765G smartphones have the fingerprint scanner primarily on the side or on the back, but in the case of this device, the sensor will be underneath the panel on the nubia Play. Which also means the device will have an OLED screen.
