Thailand’s NBTC certification platform has released a listing where they have mentioned about an unannounced Realme smartphone. As per the listing, the device will arrive with model number RMX2086 and more importantly, the retail name of the smartphone is Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition. Going by the naming protocol, it seems like the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition will be an exceptional variant, with powerful zooming capabilities of the Realme X3 that is supposed to launch soon as a replacement to the Realme X2.
We had earlier recognized RMX2086 on Geekbench, EEC, and BIS platforms as well but back then the name of the device was not revealed. But, now that NBTC has unveiled that the RMX2086 is Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition, let us also review what the smartphone’s listing on other platform tells.
According to the listing, the model number of the device is RMX2086 and that its retail name will be Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition. The smartphone supports GSM, WCDMA, and LTE networks, but there is no mention of it holding 5G network, which means that the device will not arrive with an impressive 5G-equipped chipset like the Snapdragon 765G, MediaTek Dimensity 1000, or even the Snapdragon 865.
The fact that the smartphone will not emphasize on 5G is obvious by the device’s listing on other platforms. The RealmeX3 SuperZoom Edition will feature a ‘msmnile’ motherboard, which we understand is for the Snapdragon 855 SoC. The smartphone has scored above 780 points in the single-core test and more than 2,620 in the multi-core test, and implies that it will be Snapdragon 855 SoC. It is also said that the device has an impressive 12GB of RAM and the latest Android 10 operating system.
The upcoming device has appeared on the EEC list as well. Well, it doesn’t share any specs of important details of the device. Also, an Indian certification agency, BIS has certified the smartphone, suggesting that the smartphone, Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition will launch in the Indian market.
