New Patent For “Twisted Camera” From Xiaomi

Xiaomi Twisted Camera

Xiaomi seems to have discovered a new approach to have a notch on phone for the selfie camera without it intruding the display. According to a source, a new leak of Xiaomi phone design has come that shows a twisted notch design that can be executed on devices.

The reverse or twisted notch basically implies there will be a small outward projection on the top of the display that will control the front camera. This feature will help the phone to offer an edge-to-edge screen with no punch-hole or notch.

As the leaked images show, the twisted notch sticks out from the head and twisted left or right corner of the display. The design looks slightly inconvenient and distracting, but it is one way of not owning to lose some part of the screen.

The design is also a great alternative to the pop-up mechanism that reduces IP rating and can cause stability concerns. The images show how twisted notch can stand in front of different types of phones.

Apart from this, Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth 5G is set to be launched in a few days, and we’ve previously seen a listing revealing most specifications as well as few official teasers highlighting its camera arrangement. The exciting competition continues where Xiaomi’s now showcased the expected phone’s display.

It’s a Super AMOLED panel made by Samsung and Xiaomi is interested to point out its diamond pixel design because it brings ‘impressive quality’. It’s the subpixel arrangement that most Samsung smartphone displays use anyway.
