No More Amazon Prime Videos for BSNL Users

Indian state-owned telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has stopped the impressive Amazon Prime promotional offer under which it was allowing one-year free Prime Video subscription to postpaid and landline users. The offer is stopped until further order from the telecom provider.

BSNL had a deal with Amazon back in 2018 to start allowing a free one-year subscription of the Prime video service to all its customers.

The promotional offer for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited customers was originally applicable to plans beginning from Rs. 745. But, the operator increased its availability to more affordable, Rs. 499 plan.

The BSNL website is displaying a ticker to declare the discontinuation of the Prime Video subscription offer that was declared in 2018.

Although, the telecom provider hasn’t given any notification about the closing of its offer to any of its users. This has given rise to a lot of customer objections on social media platforms. Various users have posted on Twitter that the provided link to get the offer isn’t working.

In the name of Prime Video subscription offer, the telecom company presented one year of free Amazon streaming to both postpaid and broadband users.

The offer was originally applicable to users with postpaid connection with a plan worth Rs 399 and for the Landline users, it was worth 745.  Though, the telecom provider extended the offer to broadband plans as low as Rs. 499 previous year.
