OnePlus Co-founder Carl Pei Set to Launch New Company

After leaving OnePlus in October 2025, co-founder Carl Pei moved on to a new venture, the details of which he is set to reveal on January 27.

Carl Pei’s new company is headquartered in London, and the announcement will start at 11 am UK time.

The new company is working on consumer electronics, a market that the former OnePlus honcho knows all too well. The focus will be on music gadgets – headphones and more, but the details have been kept tightly under wraps. In fact, there is no information on what the company will be named either.

As of now, the information that we have is that his company has already received $7 million in seed funding from some high profile investors, including Tony Fadell, the inventor of the iPod.

Earlier in an interview, Carl Pei had said that “by turning a blank page, I can be a lot more creative with what I choose to spend my time on”. Let’s see what this innovative entrepreneur has in store for us.
