OPPO Reno Ace Key Specifications Revealed Ahead of October 10 Launch
Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has confirmed that it will launch the new flagship smartphone- OPPO Reno Ace that at the launch event in China that will be commencing on October 10. The company will be simultaneously launching a GUNDAM edition of the Reno Ace. Just a couple of days ahead of the launch, the Vice President of OPPO, Brian Shen took to Weibo to reveal the key specifications and features of OPPO Reno Ace.
Shen revealed that OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition will house a 90Hz display with a 135Hz sampling rate. The device will come up with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 inbuilt storage. On Weibo, Shen has mentioned that OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition will come up with a 48-megapixel primary camera which is a part of a quad-camera setup and will also support for Dual-WiFi.
The VP has also revealed that there will be two stereo speakers attached to the phone and will support 18W PD as well as 18W Quick Charge and 20W VOOC Flash Charge technology. This places a contradiction with the previous report that hinted at 65W charging support. There have been other changes made too where OPPO has aimed to make improvements on heat dissipation which should assist the device from heating while playing.
About the dual speaker setup, the VC has claimed that it will enhance the movie-watching experience. Based on the previous rumours, we assume that the quad-camera setup on the Oppo Reno Ace consists of a 48-megapixel sensor, a 13-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is said to measure 161.0×75.7×8.7mm and weigh 200 grams. It will reportedly also pack a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution.
In the case of the battery life department, OPPO Reno Ace will be powered by a 4000mAh battery. While every specification has not been revealed by Shen Yiren, the phone has passed through TENNA in China that has revealed most of its features. We now have to wait for few more hours before OPPO spills every secret of the Reno Ace to its customers.
