Redmi is all set to unleash a new phone upon India, which will be known as the Redmi 9 Power. According to a new rumour, unless there are some changes at the last moment, the Xiaomi sub-brand will unveil the Redmi 9 Power in India on December 15.
According to many leaks and rumours, this new device maybe not much more than a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which was announced in China last week. And that phone is funnily a rebranded, and slightly tweaked version of the Poco M3, which launched globally two days before that event in China. Xiaomi has a knack for naming and rebranding seamlessly.
The device may come with a 6.53″ 1080p+ LCD screen, the Snapdragon 662 chipset, at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, a 48 MP main rear camera, an 8 MP selfie snapper, Android 10 with MIUI 12, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 18W charging. The price should be low too, but how low is yet to be seen. In China, it sells for the equivalent of Rs. 11,286 at the current exchange rates, but it could go down to as low as Rs. 9,999 with offers and other things.
