Redmi Note 9T Specs and EU Pricing Leak

Redmi Note 9T

Xiaomi has been in a teaser mode for the Redmi Note 9T, which is the latest member of the vast and varied Redmi/Note 9 family of smartphones. As we all saw, the device got benchmarked a few days earlier, and now more information about this upcoming smartphone has been outed from new sources.

Now, there are some promo images, one of which talks about the handset’s main specifications. As it is visible from the images, the phone should have a 48 MP main camera, a 6.53″ FHD+ hole-punch display, dual speakers, NFC, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, which we were aware of, thanks to previous leaks surrounding the phone.

Next, Amazon Germany has mistakenly already listed the device, and that’s revealed other specs as well as EU pricing. The base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will retail for €229.90, while users can get double the storage space (and no additional RAM) if they shell out €269.90.

The Amazon listing also shows a 90 Hz refresh rate for the screen, and outs the name of two colour versions – Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple. It looks like the Redmi Note 9T is just a global version of the Redmi Note 9 5G that has so far been exclusive to China, with an upped screen refresh rate and less RAM.

The Redmi Note 9T is getting official on January 8, and is expected to run Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top.
