Flip phones are back in the business and Samsung is ready to add a new competitor in the game, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. It is a follow up to last year’s Samsung Galaxy Fold, which was launched in February.
The smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch foldable glass display, a customized flex mode that splits the display into two screens, and a revolutionary camera perfect for capturing timed photos and videos.
Samsung has ensured a strong body for the device so that it can stand without support, allowing users to take hands-free pictures. It also features a Night Mode that can capture low-light photos and videos on its own.
For easy use, the notifications are shown on the cover display, so you will miss none of the messages, calls, or events. The device comes with a high-quality battery, so you can play games and watch your favourite movies all day long. Other features like security settings and applications like Samsung Pay and Samsung Health are available in the device as well.
Compared to Motorola RAZR, the Z Flip has a bigger screen, longer battery life, and a faster processor.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip comes in Three colour variants – Mirror Black and Mirror Purple, Mirror Gold and it is available in Korea and the United States for the time being. The brand will soon launch it in other markets as well.
The main display of the device has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9:9, a.k.a. Infinity Flex Display. The cover display features a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 300*112.
It is available in single variant 8GB RAM + 256GB Internal memory and functions on the 7 nm 64-bit Octa-Core Processor.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a dual-camera setup at the backside with FOV 80-degrees Dual Rear Camera and a 12MP wide-angle camera. On the front, you get a 10MP selfie camera for clear and bright selfies.
For hours of gaming and surfing, it sports a massive 3,300mAh dual battery and it weighs just 183g enabling you to carry it around with ease.
