Samsung Launches Another Foldable Phone, W20 5G With 5G Connectivity

Samsung’s Galaxy Fold has created quite a buzz in India with its impeccable features that can be grabbed at Rs 1.65lakh. After the Galaxy Fold, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer introduced a new foldable phone that goes by the name Samsung W20 5G foldable phone. The 5G phone comes with a glass-sandwich and hinge-based design.

The Samsung W20 5G foldable phone comes with 5G connectivity and is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful processor right now, Snapdragon 855 Plus. The stylish phone resembles Galaxy Fold in terms of design but has slight differences when it comes to specifications.

The W20 5G foldable phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage. Notably, besides the RAM, storage, and connectivity, all other specs of the W20 5G foldable phone are similar to the Galaxy Fold.

When it comes to aesthetics, the Samsung W20 5G foldable phone is a blend of two screens– one is the big one, which is stationed inside, while the small one lies outside the phone. The most interesting part of this device is that it can be used as a smartphone in a folded state and a tablet in the unfolded state.

Inside, the W20 5G foldable phone sports a 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED display that offers 1536 x 2152p resolution with an aspect ratio of 4.2:3. It also comes with HDR10+ support. Outside the phone, there’s a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display. This screen offers an aspect ratio of 21:9.

In case of other specifications, the second foldable phone from Samsung comes with a 10-megapixel selfie shooter that sits right above the screen. The main screen of the foldable phone packs two image sensors. One is a 10-megapixel sensor while the second one is an 8-megapixel RGB depth sensor. On the rear side of the new foldable phone, there are three sensors – 16MP + 12MP + 12MP.

The Samsung W20 5G smartphone draws its power from 4,235mAh battery that is paired with 15W fast charging technology. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side. There are AKG-tuned speakers as well. On the software front, the phone runs Android 9 Pie OS-based One UI.
