There’s good news for all Asus fans. The recruitment is over for those who had signed up to take the Android 11 beta for the Asus Zenfone 6 – it’s now available to them on their devices. The new software is based on the latest OS version and features some small changes to the ZenUI by Asus.
Some of the new features of Android 11 Beta include Notification History and Bubbles, along with third-party launchers that can make use of gestures. The PowerMaster feature has also been moved into the battery settings where it belongs.

The company has put in some efforts into decluttering the software – the Avast scanning engine, Private Listening and ZenUI Help are now gone. The Smart group, Icon alignment and custom icon pack support have been removed as well by Asus.
This Android 11 Beta update is a good 1.4 GB download, so if you’ve signed up for the beta test, you will have to make sure there is enough space on your device. Moreover, you will also need to connect to Wi-Fi and start downloading the update.
There is, however, no word on when the stable Android 11 update will be out, so for those who have missed the registration bus, it looks like they’ll have to wait a while to get their hands on this software update from Google.
