Motorola has unveiled its latest G-series, Moto G8 Plus that has been labelled as one of the best budget smartphones of 2019. The biggest improvement that the phone brings with it is the camera quality that has escalated its position from a dual rear camera to a triple-camera array.
The phone comes with a sole variant 4GB + 64GB variant that is priced at Rs 13,999. With two gorgeous colour options, Cosmic Blue and Crustal Pink, the new G phone is available on Flipkart. Moto G8 Plus launch offers include Jio Cashback up to Rs. 2,200, Cleartrip vouchers worth Rs. 3,000, and Zoom Car vouchers worth Rs. 2,000.
Moto G8 Plus: Specifications
Moto G8 Plus runs stock Android 9 Pie sporting a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, a U-shaped notch, and a pixel density of 400ppi. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz, ticking alongside the Adreno 610 GPU, and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
When it comes to camera setup, Moto G8 Plus triple rear camera comprises a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. It is assisted by a 16-megapixel dedicated action camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 117-degrees field of view, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. A 25-megapixel selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture sits on the front. Additional camera features include a dedicated night mode, spot colour, up to 4K video capture at 30fps, and 1080p slo-mo videos at up to 120fps.
In the case of the battery life, there has been an increase of 1000mAh over its predecessor’s 3000 mAh. It also includes 15W TurboPower fast charging, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded with up to 512GB of microSD card storage.
