One thing that we all can agree upon is that the Samsung Galaxy S30 will be more dominant than the Galaxy S20, but we now have a report that states just how big of a leap it is actually going to be.
As per reports leaked on web, the GPU (graphics processing unit) in Samsung Galaxy S30 will be known as Exynos 1000 and will be capable of performance that’s up to three times speedier than the GPU in the Snapdragon 865 – which is the highest Android chipset, found in American variants of the Samsung Galaxy S20.
The report covered three tests, with the most significant difference coming in ‘Aztec High’, where the Adreno 650 GPU in the Snapdragon 865 achieved 20fps, while the Exynos 1000’s GPU achieved 58fps.
There are other important points to note though. Firstly, this is just GPU review, not the performance of the chipset as a whole, so the Exynos 1000 won’t certainly be this much quicker in all situations.
Also, early leaked reports are not always accurate. They could be false, and even if they’re true, they’ll be operating off non-final hardware – though if something that latter point suggests the Exynos 1000 could be even more useful in the end.
Well, for now, we just have to wait for the official announcement on this and hope that Samsung will bring extraordinary features and a high level of performance for the upcoming smartphone.
