The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is launching on December 1 and is going to be one of the slimmest 5G smartphones to be launched in the Indian market right now. So far, we know that the design on the Vivo V20 Pro 5G launching in India is going to be the same as the global version that was launched a few months ago.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is the next V20 series iteration from Vivo after the Vivo V20 and the Vivo V20 SE, both of which have already been launched in India.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G will be launched online and the company will be live streaming the event on social media and their YouTube Channel.
Expected pricing and availability
According to speculations, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G will be priced at Rs. 29,990, which will then make it the cheapest 5G smartphone from Vivo in the country. The smartphone is going to be available in an 8GB variant and will come in three colors – Moonlight Sonata, Sunset Melody, and Midnight Jazz.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G will be available online on Amazon and at authorized retail outlets across the country.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G will come with dual SIM support and run Android 10 out-of-the-box with FunTouch OS 11. As per the specifications on the global version, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G should come with a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with HDR10 support and 60Hz refresh rate. The screen is expected to sport a wider-notch to house the dual selfie cameras.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G might come with the Snapdragon 765G SoC under the hood with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded via microSD. The Vivo V20 Pro 5G is expected to pack a 4,000mAh battery and a 33W fast charge support.
As for optics, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G has three cameras on the back – a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, the device has a 44MP primary selfie camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. It will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
